Sets is an in progress studio exploration. I create and use different sets as a way to explore motion in relation to objects and visual stimuli. The sets come from pieces of other works or are created only for the studio. I often use them to restage pieces by other performance artists, to get a perspective on their movement from a differnt angle and in relation to its visual impact. This is an ongoing work that has to do with sustaining an everyday studio practice. I am interested in creating a library of both sets and actions/gestures that can be paired in various ways. This is like a living archive for the studio, its final form is yet to be decided.
