Legs is a performance piece in which I try and synchronize my movements with the gravitational pull exerted on a mannequin leg. Building on concepts from mona, I’m thinking about what happens to the rest of the body while the legs are at work, and about th body’s relationship to flat surfaces vs 3d objects.

This piece is the begining of my development of focused minute movements as a method in performance and the isolation of parts. It is also the start of an interest in mirroring, duplicates, and leader/follower dynamics.
